This park stands as a memorial to the famous athletes of Kentucky, its thoroughbred horses.

Leslie Morris park sits atop a hill that overlooks downtown Frankfort. The fort here served union soldiers during the Civil War.

Georgetown is home to Yuko-En on the Elkhorn, a Japanese garden. It sits opposite The Cardome Center, a large mansion.

10X10X10 at Roger’s Gap
As part of a photography class, I was challenged to pick a direction and drive for 10 minutes, stop, and take 10 photos no more than 10 feet from my car. I ended up in Roger’s Gap and was fortunate enough to have a train stop right where I parked.
Wandering Through Georgetown
It’s amazing what you can find in your own backyard. There’s something quaint about downtown Georgetown.

Everyone wants to be wanted. It’s how we understand our self worth. We can define our worth by what we can do for the world, which enslaves us to the fallen standard of the world. We can also define our worth by what others think, which forces us to abandon who we really are to please others. Instead our real worth comes from God who made us. God thinks we’re priceless, if only we can see ourselves as God sees us.
